You will get three options to choose from in Quiz Feedback Mode.

  • Default: Default mode will show the answer after the quiz session is finished.
  • Reveal Mode: Reveal mode will show the result after the question is answered.
  • Retry Mode: Retry mode will allow students to make reattempts to pass the quiz, and you can set how many retries a student can take.

Max Question Allowed to Answer

Max questions allowed to answer is a feature that lets you limit the questions students can answer.

If you have 25 questions in a quiz and want to set the Max Question Allowed Answer to 20, then students need to answer 20 questions to finish the quiz session. These 20 questions will be distributed randomly out of those 25 to the students, and this helps to stop unwanted behaviour.

Advanced settings

The advanced settings options provide more flexibility with your quizzes. You can personalize how your quiz session will be displayed and react to the students.

Let’s go top-to-bottom of the windows and explain how every option works.

  • Quiz Auto Start: Enabling this option will automatically start the quiz after a student opens the quiz.
  • Question Layout: Lets you choose the question layout to Single Question, Question Pagination, and Question below each other.
  • Question Order: Lets you choose the question order to Random, Sorting, Ascending, and Descending.
  • Hide Question Number: This toggle button lets you hide the question numbers.
  • Short Answer Characters Limit: This limit lets you select the maximum number of characters a student can write in the Short Answer quiz type.
  • Open-Ended/ Essay questions answer character limit: This limit lets you define the maximum number of characters a student can write in the Open-Ended quiz type.
