Migrate from LearnPress to Tutor LMS – The requirements
To switch to Tutor LMS from LearnPress you have to use another tool called “Tutor LMS Migration Tool”. But before you start the migration process make sure that you have the updated version of the following plugins:
- Tutor LMS (Version 1.4.6 or later)
- Tutor LMS Migration Tool (v1.0.4 or later)
- LearnPress (Version 18.104.22.168 or later)
Having the updated version of the plugins mentioned above will ensure the best result. So, to be on the safe side, do a double-check on these versions.
How to migrate from LearnPress to Tutor LMS
Another thing, before migrating it is a good idea to backup all your files to be safe. The migration tool is Themeum’s own plugin. You have to install and activate it first. From your WordPress dashboard, click on ‘Plugins’ and select ‘Add New’. Do a search for Tutor LMS Migration Tool. Install and activate this plugin and follow the instructions below:
Step 1: Open Tutor LMS Migration Tool
At first, click on Tutor LMS from your WordPress dashboard and select ‘Tools’. From here you will find a new tab called ‘Tutor LMS Migration Tool’. Open it.
Step 2: Start migration

Step 3: Finalize
