Now that Google Meet is enabled, it’s time to configure its app credentials. To configure your Google Meet, visit your Google Developer Console page. First we have to create a project. A new section will popup, from that new section you’ll find a button called “New Project”, click on it.

Step 4 – Creating a meeting or online live session with Google Meet

Now that Google Meet is connected, we can create online classes. For Google Meet, there are two ways to create online meetings or classes in Tutor LMS:

  • From the course builder under a topic
  • From Google Meet section in the course editor

You can use the course builder of Tutor LMS to create an online class for a lesson. It is also possible to create an online meeting from the Google Meet option. We will see both options. Let’s start with the course builder.

With the course builder, you can create topics and add lessons within those topics. If you expand a topic you’ll see the “Meet Live Lessons” button at the bottom of the topic. Of course you have to have Google Meet addon enabled and connected for this to work.
